How we choose, and what we earn
Most of this shop is gifts we have made to order for you. Some pages also show items sold by other sellers. This page says how those are chosen and what we earn from them.
Our gifts come first
In every list, the gifts we sell ourselves are shown first. Items from other sellers come after them, under a short line that says they are sold by others. Nobody pays to be listed or ranked here.
How an item is chosen
- Each item is chosen by hand, and approved by the founder before it appears on the site.
- The note on each page about why we picked it is written from what the seller’s own listing says.
- We do not handle the order. You buy from the seller, on the seller’s site, and the seller ships it and looks after it.
What we earn
Some of the links to other sellers earn us a small commission if you buy through them. It costs you nothing extra. When there are no such items on a page, there is nothing to disclose and we say nothing.
As an Amazon Associate, Cool Christian Gifts earns from qualifying purchases.
Prices
A price is shown only with the date we checked it, for example “checked 22 Oct”. Sellers change prices, so after 30 days we stop showing the number and send you to the seller to see the current price. The seller’s page is always the final word.
What the seller says about themselves
When a page says an item is “Christian-owned” or “handmade”, that is the seller’s own description, shown as theirs. We have not checked it ourselves and we do not say it in our own voice.
Pictures and reviews
We show a picture of another seller’s item only when we have the right to. Until then you see a plain placeholder with the seller’s name. We do not show star ratings, sales counts or reviews of other sellers’ items, and nothing on this site is a review we did not collect ourselves.
